La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oshawa

I recently stayed at La Quinta Inn and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly the one who was taking care of me is RAHUL , they make me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay.

La Quinta Inn Oshawa is one of the nicer more cleaner high-end hotels. What is nice about our stays is the rooms a reasonably clean and fairly spacious. The location on King Street East in downtown Oshawa it's convenient is that most necessities are within a short walk of only about 2 to 3 blocks. However the heart of downtown Oshawa has its undesirable aspects to it as well. Such as at this particular location I don't much practice going outside too much after 8:00 p.m. especially by myself. However the stay inside the hotel itself is pretty enjoyable however for a bit of a half to your cost and heavier deposit however that is returnable if you leave everything clean undamaged and unexpected upon check out. All in all this is one of my more highly recommended motel stays in Oshawa.

Room was cozy, functional, clean. Convenient central location with free on-site parking. Free breakfast is a bit early (6-9 AM), but the coffee was decent. All of the staff members I interacted with were friendly & professional, and very accommodating. It might not be fancy, but neither is the price!

Room was small so it felt crowded, but it all seemed recently remodeled. The view of a brick wall two feet away did not help the feeling if crowded. The reception service was pleasant and efficient. It's main door is in middle of a street block, so parking to register was difficult. The hotel parking in the back was full so had to park at a garage one block down. Fortunately the hotel gives vouchers for the garage parking. The nearby bar restaurant was audible from the hotel, and the atmosphere on the street outside was not relaxing.

I find myself wondering, why I return to this place with graceful consistency. I sit on the bed and I stare at the walls, pondering about whether it's because of the ever so elegantly designed furnishings, or the abstract art of the beautifully made wallpapers clearly crafted by an artist blessed by a Greek Deity. I find attempting to get any sleep to be out of the question, because you don't want to avert your eyes on a place as lavish as the La Quinta. The soft, fragile carpet matches the beauty and complexion of the entirety of the room that I had stayed in. I had the most delightful, and wonderful stay at the La Quinta. It truly is the most magical hotel and it always brings wonder to my eyes.

It was much better than I expected, at least for a brief stay of energy recovery in the middle of the week! I can imagine that it might get a bit noisy on weekends, especially if the room is facing the street as it's right in the middle of downtown Oshawa with bars around. I was lucky to be there late middle of the week, very empty streets, room facing hotel parking garage which was an amazing bonus to not pay for parking and easily use the back door to get in and out of parking lot from or to hotel first floor. Also, both of Reception clerks were kind, fast and painless for Check-in and Check-out which was very helpful. The room amenities were very comprehensive, room was clean, and there was a nice bathroom, but shower water had a very low pressure, and it took forever to warm up. The hall flooring was squeaky, which made other guests' coming and going a bit noisy at late night or early hours for other guests. My reservation had breakfast included, which wasn't bad considering the price. The hotel was also very responsive in the reservation platform's messaging system.

Excellent , most people are lovely when serving you ; front desk workers and the old lady who does house keeping

For our wedding at Harpo's Restaurant in Oshawa, our family booked 7 rooms at La Quinta Inn for Friday and Saturday night. Although several of us live within 40 minutes from the hotel, La Quinta was a convenient location so guests could Uber or Lyft to the venue and not worry about drinking and driving a the end of the night. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff was pleasant and professional. The free breakfast included enough options to satisfy us but there are also enough full service restaurants in the area if you want to drive to one nearby. The beds were comfortable and clean and there was no shortage of hot water in the bathroom considering the hotel appeared to be pretty full. There is an additional parking lot nearby that provides free parking, just speak to the front desk clerk. For those of us that don't want to spend $300+ per night or simply can't, La Quinta Inn is a good option.
